COLUMBUS, OHIO CSC Worldwide announces the retirement of Joseph E. Madigan after 12 years of service. Madigan was Chair of the Audit Committee, an expert financial person with great vision and insight, according to Carl J. Aschinger, Jr., Chairman & CEO of CSC Worldwide.
"Madigan was a most outstanding Board Member-tuff, thoughtful and brave," Aschinger said.
According to Aschinger, Madigan's experience made him a successful board member. Madigan served in several senior financial positions with TWA, Borden, Wendy's and was co-owner of Horton Co. and chairman of a real estate investment trust as well as director of many other companies.
To honor Madigan, CSC Worldwide set up the "Joe Madigan Academic Scholarship," which is awarded yearly to the child of a CSC Worldwide associate who exhibits leadership skills and graduates from high school. The scholarship recipient is determined by an outside, 3rd party educator.
